^ Read his sig block. No looped fuel rail, virtually stock drivetrain, and awfully quick/fast. I thought his post was a non sequitur until I scanned to the end.

1. Yeah, first off, you can NOT compare a custom built twin turbo setup to a stock blower setup. That is dumb. They are entirely different. 2. Yeah, S/c, he somehow managed to run 10s and not trap over 122.Cool. 3. Looped rails are pointless, and saying "my car doesn't have one" or didn't, like his car is the script of the bible for e55 amgs, its dumb, and doesn't help spread useful information.
Fuel pressure is more of an issue, and using a looped fuel rail does nothing. If you want to solve an issue thats really not that big of a deal in the first place, switch to a return style fuel setup, and get some info.

Thanks homey!!!
What are you current mods, that will determine whether you need just injectors or both. As a FYI, I also converted to a return style fuel system with an adjustable FPR.

Hey Craig if you don't mind pointing me towards a thread where I can read more about the return style fuel system you installed. I just put a new pump/sender in together with upgraded injectors and a looped rail but have known there has got to be a better way?

That was my point.
It was a marketing scheme by some guy and his fan club jumped all over it.
I never had one because it makes more sense to just change the entire fuel system.
And btw, I ran 10s on the stock sc at 129mph

Return style would include pushing fuel back into the tank - using a hole drilled where? Sealing that could be tricky. Maybe a custom hat for either side would be best, like that other poster did with an aluminum hat. The side not already being pumped out (which would be the sender side) would be the side to return to. There is room on the body there anyway.

I know I am a little late to the game here guys. What's the issue the looped rail is attempting to solve? My dad just bought one and it looks like a looped rail and I was confused as to the point.

Ok so clearly I missed something.. So the looped fuel rail idea came out to stop the no. 8 cylinder from burning out due to fuel starvation.. So now why is the concensus changed saying the fuel rail does nothing?

Because plenty of cars had made great power without issue without the looped rail. Honestly, how many people or threads do you see of people burning up rings or melting a piston?
Plus, mullet has had a gauge in-car. The fuel pressure dropping is the issue. But, how much of an issue is it I guess.

I run 2 Zeitronix wide band 02 sensors, the drivers side AFR ,the side with #8 cylinder on avg is .5 leaner, sometimes even at points ,and sometimes .7 leaner then the pass side,I am talking about qtr mile runs from standing start, and some roll on pulls well into 4th gear, I am not running a looped fuel rail ,I don't know if that would correct this situation,my car has 75 psi fuel pressure at idle and drops to 65 psi on wot passes, this happens all the time, doesn't matter if I have a different tune or not.
