Anyone Seen Another
New owner 04 E55 AMG. Color code is C353 which in Mercedes language is "Teallblau Metallic". I have not seen another E55 with this color. Seats are two tone blue leather. Anyone else? Picked up last week, 38K miles, loaded, everything works. No chirps or squeals. Traded my Subaru STI in on it and absoluty love the car. Just threw a set of Tire Rack wheels and Blizzaks on to get thru the winter.

Only one I've ever seen was your exact car...on Ebay. Paul Herman, right? They had it listed a couple times, but the opening bid was overpriced and it kept going unsold.
I loved the exterior color, but not so much the 2-tone interior. Did you buy it off the lot? What did you end up paying, if you don't mind me asking? Did you do an extended warranty?

You are correct. It is a Paul Herman car. They were most professional at the dealership. Family run, very knowlegeable and fine reputation. Winter is now on us in Buffalo NY and Paul was willing to negotiate a very reasonable price (42K). He also had new brakes, rotors, and tires installed (Conti 3's) and then sent it to our local Mercedes shop for a complete checkup and service. I also received top dollar for my STI on trade. The car looks like it has never seen winter and is as clean as new. Not a bit of rust on the steel suspension componants. This week I put a new set of wheels and Blizzaks on the car for winter. The two-tone is very tame and I like it. However, I would probably have chosen black or charcoal if new. I still have 7 months of warranty left and have been offered a 100,000 mi. extended warranty for $3300. I am still considering.

Congrats, like I said b4, I am in love with that exterior color. Enjoy your new car!
