Drive Dynamic Seats
Was this option available to be purchased on an E55? I know it was available on the S-series. I've seen some sales ads that show Drive Dynamic Seats on the E55, but can't find anything to confirm that from the manufacturer.
If I'm correct, these are the seats that have the active inflating bolsters while driving.

The option wasn't available at all in Canada on the W211 E-series, only the S-series.
The '04 I purchased (sight unseen ) from Chicago is supposed to have it. The salesperson said so, but it's not a Benz dealer, so I'm not too sure he knows what he's talking about.
I had only seen one other ad touting that option, so I wasn't sure if the US had different options or if it was a typo in the ad on Dynamic Seats. Apparently not! Nice to know I don't think I'm getting screwed.
She's waiting for me, I just need to coordinate time to get there and drive home.
And thanks for the cheap prices down there guys!!

He says there is only a pulse button, but when he's driven the car, a dynamic light flashes on the dashboard.

Plus, what is dynamic light flashes on the dashboard? ESP?
Mark Cummins:
Is your W211 non-AMG one and Steve fitted AMG seats in it? If so, how much if you don't mind me asking?
One of the things I love my E55 is the seats..... bought a 535 couple months ago and both wife and I have been complaining about lack of support from the seats even though they're sport seats
So if I find a W211 E-class wagon (been browsing for a E55/63 wagon but it seems not many out there for sale ), I may swap the 535 while the price is still good.

This is one option I wouldn't miss. The cooling seats do not cool in the sense of blowing cold air(unless the air in the cabin is already cold). I've never been sure I can even tell the difference when they are on. It blows cabin air through the holes in the seat. The blue lights on the button make you feel cooler.

ahhh i see.. didnt miss much then.. same for the heated seats.. winter mornings here.. im freezing my **** off getting in the car in the morning, by the time im warmed up, then the seats are finally getting hotter, so useless, but again like you said, the red lines of lights makes it seem warmer

Ya, there is definitely a difference between "real" a/c seats and what mercedes offers.
Take the lincoln navigator for example. My father drives one of those, and the seats actually have a cooling line run to them from the compressor and will (literally) freeze your butt off. You definitely notice it.
Mercedes "a/c seats", by comparison, are just a couple of fans inside the seat bottom that blow hot air from the floorboards up through the seat bottom. Personally, I think even calling them "cooled" seats is borderline false advertising.
