Lowering A E63?

I Know You Can Lower A E63 With Any Type Of Elm But Is There Another Way?

Also Does The Car Actually Handle Any Better When You Lower It And How Is The Ride After?

Any Help Would Be Great

I spoke to EuroElites about this during the GTG in Fremont.

No, it needs to be done electronically.

It might also be possible to get the suspension "recalibrated" to match the 030 specs. It is still unclear what changes are actually made.

One person attending (tigerlam?) said he had his lowered slightly (1"?) just with programming by the dealer.

The only real change in handling will be lowering of the center of gravity.

You also have the option of completely retuning the suspension by adjusting camber, caster, and toe. I have not seen anyone racing the W211 where they have taken the tuning to this extent. If they have, it is highly likely they are also using soft compound tires.

You can just use a set of adjustable brackets that hold the stock air ride sensors, they can be adjusted to make the car sit higher or lower. They are available from a number of dealers, I think i got mine from adjustable air ride . com.

Yes, the car does handle better once lowered.

Not just lower center of gravity, but also more and more negative camber.
