e63 thumping sound when downshifting?
I am about to buy a e63 but every car I have test drove has a hard down shift at slow speeds from 2 to 1 gear. I havent seen post about the problem and wanted to see anybody else has the problem.
I have test driven probably 5-6 different e63's all have the problem

My E55 does the same thing... And after I got my new trannsmission in from warranty work.... its thumps a lil harsher now.... Maybe due to te performance of a 'race' breed???

E63, SL 550 Sport,C63 Coupe On the Way!!
sounds like the adaptation needs to be erased and reset.
My car now does this only after it have tranny work done with a new converter. I need to bring mine back soon.
