G Power has already produced it's twin turbo M5, but with BMW already testing prototypes of forced induction M5's, and Audi about to bring to U.S. its tt V-10 RS6 sedan, AMG has no choice but to produce a new range of twin turbo V-8's and V-12's. This is gonna be good boys....

Very serious bout this. For those who are able to get into the AMG private lounge, they are having a question and answer session this evening.
Would be great for a few people to chime in KINDLY asking about future plans for a TT V8 AMG in the future.
Enough of us speak up, they will get the hint.

Why are they delaying it? If all other competitors are going FI, why not go FI

Maybe you could ask about what type of motor the spied SL "Black series" will have? If thats a f/i V8 then AMG will most certainly drop that into future models.
Another important question is the transmission...is there a dual clutch in the works? When?

Don't know.... call them
Don't know but probably the best way to find out is just to look up G-Power's telephone number from the internet and just call and ask... shouldn't take but just a couple minutes to do .... :-)
As far as motors that come OE twin turbo, Dinan now has a $1,999 dollar ECU upgrade for all bimmers with that 3.0 liter TT engine, and it boosts power to 384 HP and 425 approx. lb/ft of torque. I think bimmer is releasing a twin turbo 4.0 or 4.8 liter V-8 in 2009 also, dinan and vishnu will probably have some devastatingly effective ECU upgrades for that crazy motor also.
Also remember guys that Porsche is also gonna join in with the upcoming Panamera and 928 replacement, which will offer twin-turbo V-8's, possibly V-10's too. And Ferrari is gonna go twin-turbo V-8 in future models also.
Now is the time for AMG to make a definitive stand and set the record straight by releasing deadly powerful twin turbo 6.3 V-8's and 6.9 or 7.4 liter 48-Valve twin turbo V-12's, hopefully with all-new transmissions that are very strong and very fast, with LSD's, much wider tires (if Porsche can drop 325/30 19's on their GT2 then AMG is gonna need atleast 345/30 tires to handle over 700 or 800 lb/ft of torque these next engines will be able to probably produce) and much better handling too if they plan to be absolutely competitive with the next generation bimmer M's and Porsche twin-turbo's.
