Nah.. I don't consider it fullfilled until I get my car all back together and get a dyno that reads 575rwhp.. Then I'll be happy! lol... I really want to close off the 55 project so I can get me a SL65 up here and go nuts with it.

Jody.. I had a bet with Vadim to see how many days you could hold out before posting again... LOL..

Damn.. You just cost me $20 USD !!!

Just messing buddy...

Vadim is waiting for the dyno shop to come back from vacation believe it or not.. The SL65 monster is back together with the VRP "Scorpion" kit installed. As soon as the dyno is available, it will be strapped down for some baseline runs before the tuning session is started... Then.. Jeremy will start working his magic!

We are CLOSE.. VERY CLOSE...

I better get back to work so I can afford the mods on this monster...

PS...Victor...cams are in the house. They should be taking the heads off within the next two weeks. Whenever I go to MB, I always turn heads when they hear the engine rumble...I can only imagine the effect of the heads/cams. My God...I can't imagine their reaction to the VRP1000 SL65.

Hey Jon,

Your heads are Stage 2 (that's ported & polished w/VRP titanium retainers, STOCK valves). They will be identical to what JakPro received.

Havoc's heads are Stage 3 (his include bigger Ferrea valves and different port work)

Both stages include VRP cams.

Hey Keith... Wait until you see the turbos that are being added to the SL65 at the shop.. They'll work on other SL bodied cars also... That can be your VR1000 package ....

Of course! All 600/65 will benefit from it. Some models will require slightly different piping but for the most part it will work on all the body styles.

Some parts of it will. Others will have to be tweaked to fit on W215.

I am going to build a set of heat shields around the filters. I know it looks tight, but there is a bit of room to make it happen.

No doubt, ducts will help. Present client wants to keep appearnce as stock as possible.
