CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
My CLK63 BS went a best 12.115 at 117.36 mph 1/4 mile with a 7.863 at 92.18 mph 1/8 mile on that run. Had a total of six runs in the 12.1's and that's with the stock Corsa tires and letting the trans shift by itself in sport.
And the 60' time on that run was 1.897 most times the 60' times were 1.90's, it's only a set of drag radial away from 11 second runs.

Ok, its a guarantee I'll be to the one in March lol.
Looks like I missed an awesome event (what else is new). Congratulations to everyone. It just proves the East coast has more skilled drivers than the West
But seriously, what a great event. Since it was so cold and I'm sure it was hard to get the tires to hook up hard I bet Gixxer could get under 12.1

Enzoms 55 is simply AWE INSPIRING, Rob least you represented and looks like you gave the 55 some good comp..Great runs all of you , M5 at Sac was similar to this M5 both very fast and great trap speeds.
Jim , HUGE kudos for running the Black down a cold track.. You East Coast guys definately are better drivers!! We are learning and hopefully we can duplicate some of this, wel maybe not the running outta gas part , LOL.
I have done that as well , OG next time do not let the gas light come on, your car will go into LIMP mode and you are very lucky it was cold out. We had this happen several times. The car goes into a "pre safe" mode to prevent you from high revs..Then boom it will not go past 3k
THANKS ENZOM!!!!!

No limp mode, but at least 7 runs in the 12.2-12-3 range were done on 92 octane as thats all they had down the street..
I think I'm going to upgrade to Michelin PS2s come spring time

PS2's
I love mine, The Ride is the Best, The handling Best. They are quiet...
Don't know about traction though... Never tracked the car, but on the street my with my 295's if I punch it from a dead stop with ESP off... It Smokes the Tires Till When ever I let off
And that's not even full throttle either
Best, Ohh! And Rob.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Nah, thanks to the guys that showed up. It was a very nice event. I only wish it hadn't rained the night before. The launching surface was crappy.
In March, with the new surface, I am hoping that we can all dead hook and see what our cars are really capable of running without any traction issues.
BTW - for all the traction issues, I did manage to run an 11.833 or 11.853 (slip is hard to read) @ 118.26 mph on a 1.737 60' time. I also had either an 11.854 or 11.834 @ 117.96, with a 1.732 60' time. I managed only 4 1.7 60' times the entire day. And I lined up at least 30 times.
Jim mentioned the wind moving the car around. I experienced the same involuntary directional changes, but I thought it may have been that I was running with tire pressures that were too low in the rear and the tires were squirming. But if Jim was running with normal pressure and his car was moving, the wind was much worse than I realized at the top end.
To be continued . . .

Enzom&I ran 3 runs back to back against eachother.I know his car is much quicker but what the hell.I was able to get traction(somewhat)and got him out the hole on 2 runs,by the 1/8mi he was gaining on me and even though I got to the traps first he would have pulled me very shortly after. We switched lanes for the 3rd run&I lost the traction advantage&spun madly in the right lane.Your car is the True Beast
We should compare slips to see where my 55 and your 63 differ generally on our better runs. You can tell a great deal about how the cars perform from the data on the timeslip, e.g., how much speed was gained in the last 1/8th, the time it took to run the last 1/8th, etc. I have about 15 slips I brought home, but for some reason, I do not have any of the slips for our runs together. So I have no idea what we ran and how close we finished, but I could see it was close. Did you get them?

Thanks, man. I was actually very, very surprised that I was able to gain ground on the top end. I thought that with better gearing and slightly more hp, the 63 would keep its advantage.

From the perspective of organizing a rental, I would want to keep it smaller. Less to worry about. And when you add guys who you do not know, you don't know if some 10 second honda civic is going to show up and spew fluid all the way up and down the track. Nothing like sitting around for an hour doing nothing.

The official rule is 15 cars. Unofficially, if they know you and know that you are bringing guys who are not going to blow up all over the track, you can exceed that amount. I had told the track that we could have as many as 20, and they were OK with that. As long as they get their money, they are OK.

Just start a thread like SleeperX and Blackbenz did while listing the names of the folks/type of cars that they will be entering. PS There were no Honda's there racing
Many of us had multiple runs and the runs were only done by the guys who signed up! It was a success!
PS Anycar is prown to destroy something, look what happened to Stephans rear diff in his S600.

I understand exactly what you mean. Over here in California, to get the track prices down to what you guys paid, we need 70 to 100 cars. And in that case, we are almost garaunteed to see a car or too blow up and start spilling crap all over the track. It then usually takes around 2 hours to clean and re-prep that track............
90 degree weather, multiple runs by many cars and one break down I'd say is pretty damn good!
The track stressed the rule that if you have a mechanical failure pull over to the right immediately and don't drive the car down the track.
