What voids CPO??

What voids CPO??
Looking to buy an E55 in spring and am trying to get my research done before I purchase. Will any performance mod void a CPO, and are the dealers all smart enough to know that you have certain mods?? I would probably buy a pulley first but it would be pointless if it voids the CPO.

I would do a search on the subject in the forums first.
To make what I know quick....
- Only the part or what the part affects would be voided by the warranty by law.
- Fighting a dealership over voiding your warranty illegally would be a long drawn out process that you might lose.
- Get to be best buddies with your service advisor and see if he and the dealership are ok with your mods....MOST IMPORTANT of ALL.
