any tricks to get the mp3 working?
I was told it will read mp3 on all 7 slots but I burned a mp3 (data) and it just won't play on the CD slot, it faded out the softkey. When I put that into changer slot, it just eject it.

what car do you have? do you have a Euro COMAND or US version? what year is the car?
I have the one COMAND slot (the correct one for mp3 DVDs) and the 5 disc changer - never tried an mp3 CD in there.
Do a search, see if that helps.

mine work in all 6 slots as well as the main one...
heres what you have to do:-
make sure you remove all mp3 tags using an mp3tagging program (free)...
also, make sure your filenames are not over 64 characters.
when you burn the disc, make sure its "finalized" or the session is "closed". this varies based on the kind of software you use to burn your cd.
follow these steps above and you should be fine.

I know for sure I closed the session, but the tagging I need to double check!
Thanks!
