How much longer r u guys keeping the E55?

I'm sorry: you lost me: what cars coming out are "sweeter" than the Beast?

I just got my E63 6 months ago. No rush for me. I will see what the next generation E AMG is exactly.

The current E55 is my 2nd W211 V8 Kompressor. I love this car. I have about 17 months to go on my lease So I'll keep it until at least then. I will have had 6 years of the W211 V8 Kompressor on two leases and MBZ will have to produce something really better to let it go.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

I't's almost 4 years and the warranty is up in April. I plan on keeping it for a while and modding it!
That's what I did with the Turbo and F360.

My son keeps asking me the same question. (He got the Lexus when I bought the Beast.) I told him there is nothing out there comparable to the Beast ( 4 door sedan with low end grunt and overall performance.) So I plan on keeping it a long time. Extended warranty runs out in 5 years so perhaps by then. Needless to say---He cried.

Thankfully and with some hard work, I will be able to afford the Beast and my next dream project car...a VRP1000 SL65!!!!! Victor and Vadim...my "pennies" are being saved up right now.

+1...I plan to keep the Beast for a very LOOOOONG time. It's my first "project car" and it will always maintain a soft spot in my heart. If I take care of it (no my daily driver) properly, I'd like to keep it forever.

Having said all that, considering the Beast's low gas mileage, and considering our nation's slow/not so slow slide toward socialism, and our putting up with Chavez's crap and the rest of the freaks who have their thumbs on the oil, there might come a time when the State takes my Beast away and forces me to drive a Prius as my transportation to my state-forced employment in the work camp, supporting the comrades.
But let's hope that day comes only after our time on this earth is complete. Let our kids deal with that one.

I cannot make the 18th in Fontana because I have to be in Las Vegas all week for our National Sales Kickoff event. Maybe if a date is planned in February that might work for me. Keep the 63 running strong like last time![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

next on the list would be either 996.997 turbo, sl.. or db9 vantage, most i can afford
