Who has the Escort Passport hardwired?
Or, really any radar detector I guess....
Where did you tap the power wire into, and where did you mount the detector?
Anyone have pics?

I just did mine last weekend, the link above is great reference, I however, did find that "pulling hard on the wood-gearshift-trim" is not necessarily the best way to remove it.
There are certain clips that can be snapped in the process . I found a way to use a flat screwdriver and push the tabs off making the wood piece pop up, a much more cleaner way.
I will post pics once I get back to work on the 2nd, where I can properly illustrate the method using a wacom.
