need help please - electrics
I am installing a laser jammer and need a live 12v feed when the ignition is on and 0V when the ignition is off so I dont need to remember to switch the unit off. Please can anyone assist where I can take it from? Everything I try and connect to via volt metre always has 12v to it even with the ignition off. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I used the wire that goes to the cigarette lighter in small cubby hole when I installed my Valentine 1.
Remove the ashtray if you have one installed, and pull up on the front lip of the shifter cover. It pops right off and you have easier access to the accessory wire.
