I live in fear of doing business here just because of the potential for problems like this. Sending $ ahead of time is sure doom. If they do not take a Credit card, you have nothing.

I don't think he'll ever post a statement saying "yeah.... I was lying to you guys". But I do think that he realizes now that we (mbworld community) will track down every scammer as best as we can, and we will stop him/her from harming any member

I hate reading crap like this... I think you let him off easy by posting on here.. The only reason you are getting your refund cheque, in my opinion, is because he realized he was going to be slapped with Mail fraud.
In the end, I'm glad to hear you are getting your money back...
I believe there is a thread somewhere in Offtopic with a list of known scammers.. I would suggest you add his name to the list so no one else gets taken.

This is the guy that ripped me off for $1400 for a set of E63 wheels & claimed the Warehouse fire with the set of E63 wheels in it on the 25th and where we googled the event and we could not find one news event of a 100,000 sq foot warehouse burning down on x-mas day. I am sure I'm not the only one that has been "burned" by this Ar$hole. So The Wheels of justice will grind slowly on this one but justice will prevail, I guarantee it! This Ar$shole has no idea what he has started here. Again, watch for the new posts of "pitabr" who now has claimed he will spend a 100 times what he owes me on this for lawyers to get out of this! Hey pitabr, expect a knock late at night form the Irvine Police & the OC Sheriff! Fock You, Do you still want to play golf when you come out to the Palm Springs area in Ferbuary?
