He even let me watch him work and ask him stupid questions as he went along among other things.

If you're in the TX area and need some work done, Motorwerks is THE place to go. The drive was a bit long but well worth the customer service I received.
What did you have done?

Thanks. I am looking forward to seeing his car at the next GTG. I am also anxious to hear how it helped his performance. if you would be so kind, how about shooting me a PM and telling me how much it would cost for a pulley and ECU? Thanks again.

Any word on the grand opening? Hope I didn't miss it.

I had a chance to stop by Sunil's shop in Houston yesterday and enjoyed the visit.
Sunil is a nice guy and his training in internal medicine is going to pay off nicely for us diagnosing problems with these high end engines.
Good location too, right off the highway ... a car from CT managed to find the shop and it should be able to fly back when he's done with all the work on it.

Let me know if you want me to drive you down there and we will see if the timing is right. This coming week, I will be able to go Friday or Saturday.

His grand opening is coming up soon but I don't think I'll be able to go next weekend.

Be careful coming back into Dallas, the revenue raisers got me for 74 in a 60. I was incredulous at the idea of a 60 zone but he didn't care. Probably 5 miles south of the city on 45 North.

Just wanted to let you all know about our latest VRP Partner location. We now have a presence in Michigan.

We are very happy to bring on board Satish and his group from Motorwerks in Commerce Township, Michigan.

Motorwerks
(248) 668-6793
3200 Walnut Lake Rd
Commerce Twp, MI 48390

Satish has a beautiful 16,000sq.ft. facility with which to serve you guys. I went down to meet with him and his staff a few months ago and they have a first class operation down there (much like Sunil's shop in Houston).

Satish became familiar with VRP because a few of you from the board have gone to him to have various mods installed and to have service done. Through talking with various people and then meeting Satish in person, they were the perfect choice for us.

Here are a few pics of the shop and some of the cars that occupy it.

The current VRP locations are: California, Houston and Detroit.

VRP Partners are independently owned entities which participate at a Partnership level.. They differ from regular distributors that resell our products in that we share R&D and marketing costs as well we pool alot of our resources together to help increase our buying power and ultimately to better serve our customers.

There are 2 more partners that I am looking to bring on board in the near future.. One is in Florida and the other is in the NY/NJ area.

Each partner location is responsible for taking care of all the VRP Distributors and customers in their own territories.

Just wanted to announce our latest partnership.

We are expanding into more and more countries and will now have a presence in Russia.

We have recently signed on the owner of the Kleemann Russia operation as a VRP major distributor for Russia, Denmark, Norway and Finland. If you happen to live in one of these areas Michael will be able to provide local support and product. He will be a major stocking dealer and service and installation center.

Their contact information is:

Michael Filimonov
PLATINUM Motorsport
Moscow, prospekt Vernadskogo 10b
tel +7 495 211 4222
e-mail: mf@kleemann.su

Michael brings many years of experience to the VRP group. He has a full installation and service center in Moscow which was primarily a Kleemann product dealer.

We are looking forward to working with Michael and taking care of all his needs out there in Moscow.

Welcome aboard Michael!! We are glad to have you as part of our growing family!!

I somehow failed to comment on the Motorwerks-VRP partnership back when it happened earlier this year. I think I may have been traveling at the time.

I feel a sense of kinship here because I was the very first person to have a VRP part installed at Motorwerks, one of the original 80mm throttle bodies.

I have a very clear recollection of talking to Satish and Billy about this guy up in Canada doing some creative things with 55K technology. They both looked a bit askance, put in a mild plug for one of the other companies, but quickly decided that if I wanted to try it, they were game to be part of it. They got a lot more excited when the saw the quality of the part and got to feel the difference it made to my car.

So congrats, guys! I hope the partnership is a roaring success!

And if I could put in one small plug, it'd be really handy if you guys could set things up so that I could get an ECU flash done at the Motorwerks shop. I'm sure it will happen eventually but sooner would be nice.

But most importantly, congrats!
