Comfort,Sport1,Sport2 settings E63
Being that this car is still very new to me, Which would be the best setting for racing from stop light to light. My Buddy has an 05 M3 and he wants to test his car against the 63 this weekend. What is the difference between S1 and S2 mode ? Thanks again for your comments and insight

Correct, comfort setting&raise the car up with the button to the left of the airmatic dc button as well.
Tranny in sport mode&tap the gear shifter to the left until you see that the car is in 1st gear on the dash board.

Raising the car will allow it to squat more when the weight is transferred to the rear when you mash the gas off the line&this will put more weight on the rear end;which allows you to launch your car harder without lighting up the tires as easily
I played around with this at the track,I did 6 runs with the car lowered in Sport2 and ran 12.3s I then switched to Comfort setting&raised the car manually(over 75mph it automatically lowers itself anyways regardless if your in sport mode or not) and made 6 more back to back passes:12.2s
So the theory holds![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
BTW,you could leave in 2nd gear&still show that M3 your taillights so don't stress it too much
