I've heard the price doubled on the strips, so does anyone have any connections? Or where can I get the paint markers while I'm searching the Euro markers?

I've had strips on both my W211s and my R230. The ones I bought for my current W211 were double the previous ones and STILL worth it. I'm with Jangy, euros are TOO clean... just bite the bullet.

FWIW, the pic in my sig is from when I bought the car, sans the strips it has today.

kewl... what did they charge for them, and they were already painted... did they install too? Just wondering I had no idea US dealers would carry Euro Strips.

Charles, can you check into this and let us know? If they are willing, we can provide the Euro spec part numbers. I know US dealers are allowed to get those parts, just not any that do.

I dropped my car off for service but I completely forgot to stop by the parts department on the way out.

I wrote myself a little note on a post it that I left in the loaner car, I'll be sure to ask tomorrow when I pick up my car.

Sounds Strange that MBUSA will sell the EURO Parts to a US Dealer ..Since the EURO Bumper is NOT USA DOT Legal ..as it deletes the amber side marker...

I dunno if it is related to which part number, but I have seen it for years. All you need is the VIn and a helpful dealer. MBUSA has the channels, they just aren't profitable, so most dealerships don't even know about it or care. BMW is the same. We used to buy AMG 2.3-16 Euro parts, but it was under the claimed intent of "race use only". But they were the MB part and in the same boxes and all. I have a hookup here in SD, if you guys can give me part numbers, I'll try and see. You never know.
