Any used Kleemann or Renntech Pulleys for sale?
I just couldn't believe the way in which he attempted to cover up this bad act of trickery. His only way to sway the board was calling me out on being a kid, who drives and upgrades his fathers cars. No one likes to be ripped off....
Think about it, i would of taken the pulley and installed it, i only returned it because of the extensive unseen damage, and i took the advice of the owner of the shop who installs kleemann pulleys every single day almost.
Why do u think he lowered his price from 1200 to 600 local pick up?
Thanks for the understanding.

And for your information, they do not do that much Kleeman. Most of, and the best Kleemann work in LA is done by DC performance.

BTW You can cut and paste excerpts of my emails to attempt to dig yourself out of the hole you have created. However, You and I both know you are missing the detailed information. Very convenient. Sorry Jordan you are a kid, you act like a kid and you will continue to be a kid until you decide to grow up and earn the respect of an adult. We made a deal and you decided to back out of it by using lying and deceit. Listening to some of the voice mails you left for me are hilarious. Telling me you just left your office? Seriously? Telling me your parents are on your case about getting back to school but you want to get "This handled" before you go back. Seriously? I am a good guy conducted lots of transactions with members here. Honestly I would have given you your money back if you would have just called me and said my dad is worried about the condition and he does not want me to install it on the $60K car he bought me. I would have understood. Instead you and your father call me on my cell to let loose on every 4 letter word while I am at dinner with my wife. Then daddy threatens me with both legal and physical harm.
Good Luck kid. Oh remember this one "You better hope our paths never cross"
Mods sorry for dropping the "S" bomb but I was annoyed by his cavalier comments.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
.....after being called out now you want the thread closed. You took a used part to a shop that refused to install it for fear it will damage your car. And your point is what? For your information, that is an everyday occurence. Shops do not like to install used parts that they don't know and cannot vouch for. I cannot believe (actually I can) that this is all there was to this and you started posting slandering another guys name for selling you a "defective" item. Even when I buy brand new tires on-line I have trouble finding a local shop to install them, unless they have an esterblished relationship with the on-line store. You owe Sandoval an appology.
Ted
Last time i went down this road i was scammed by our very own SANDOVAL. He sent me a extremely damaged pulley that looked like it was dropped, and then thrown down a stair case
I believe i paid like 1100. He refused to refund me my money and my American Express Platinum card got me it back real quick.Interesting....
Here's where SANDOVAL advertised his pulley in the classifieds: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...light=kleemann
Funny, the price was at $700 shipped, then $650 shipped; did he hit you for $450 extra to reach your number of $1,100?
There are plenty of pictures in his post, did you not look at them? You certainly posted in the thread & asked about it. I was interested in it as well, but decided that I'd rather buy new than used with some damage (even if cosmetic)
Maybe you should just buy new from your boys at Lucent?
I can only hope that this thread makes people think a bit more about modding their cars. You have to take responsibility when you decide to make that brake from what MB recommends. I do not know of any shop that would even be willing to install a used pulley, much less recommend doing it. I don't doubt for a second that Lucent looked at that thing and wouldn't warranty it. That proves NOTHING. All the shops I know of (except Creative) will only mess with a pulley IF it has been sent out to have it balanced. But that was when pulleys were $2K and came with tunes. Now, prices have dropped, so why buy used?
You bought a used pulley and were told it had some nicks and dents. When it arrived you confirmed it and then took it to the shop to install.
Noone likes to be embarrassed and when you took the pulley to the shop, they probably started snickering at you that you would want to put a used and banged up pulley on a Mercedes. Most likely comments were like, "Look son, with a pulley that ugly, there's bound to be some damage to it" etc etc. You have to understand that it's also the shops a-ss if he installs this pulley and it toasts your crank so he was also covering his own a-ss.
If the mechanic had installed the pulley and she ran fine, like 99% likely it would have, this would have never happened.
I honestly don't think there was any scamming going on from either end.
The pulley he received was the pulley in the pictures. All of the rash on the edges were in the pictures. Full disclosure, he had all of those pictures prior to making the deal.
