yes, we're slow!!! our tracks are just at 1250ft elevation and we rarely get to run under 2000ft da!

I've seen it run in person and that was with Mickey Thompson Drag Radials. Very consistently running 11.0's, don't recall seeing it run 10's but was only a few hundred feet of DA away. At famoso definately 10's. Also #4 would be #1 if he ran in MD, NJ, or FL. He was on an episode of PassTime.

Hey! what do you guys think about a Quickest MBZ 1/4 mile (Stock) list????

Too much detective work in figuring out what mods, if any, were on these cars on that particular run.... then there is the age-old debate on what is "stock". Is it "stock" running 10mm wider sized street tires? Is it "stock" taking out the spare tire and tools from the trunk? Is it "stock" if they took out the floor matts and owners manual? Is it "stock" if the driver took a dump and p!ss immediately before with the help of diuretics and performance enhancing drugs...

If Evosport can get my car buttoned up by noon this Thursday I will be running at Houston Raceway Park this Friday night, they have a Safe Steet Event that goes from 5:00pm - Midnight, weather is suposed to be dry and low 50's as a low on Friday night, should be prime conditions. Houston is friggin fast this time of year, this will most likely be my best shot at 10's until fall.

....I have to beat Ahmad into the 10's

I say we define "Stock" as in a car that has not had any engine,trans,exhaust,ECU or R compound tires modifications! I still consider Enzom stock even though he ran 275 PS2's. In my book you can run 18-20's as long as its a "street" tire meaning no MT Streets, BFG DR's, Nitto DR's, Hoosier DR's and any other type of street legal drag radial.

It is impossible to enforce this. You would have to take peoples word on things. I've seen alot of sneaky things in my days of racing. Ever seen a completely hidden nitrous setup with sneaky pete bottles IN the roll cage?

What about all the little performance enhancing things you can do like icing your intake/intercoolers...is that considered a "stock" run? Anybody can make up their own list and use whatever criteria they want...I prefer the simplicity of whatever your time is...it is ...regardless of mods. We only note nitrous runs for the sake of comparison. I also designate a "K" when a car is supercharged on a model that did not come with a supercharger. When someone ponies up for a turbo set-up, there will be a "T" or "TT".

Well I guess one way to look at it is we all know what the cars are capable of in stock and modified form. So if someone puts up a post and says I ran 11.5@120 with a stock C63, E55,CLS63,SL55,63 or 65 etc... we all know that it's getting deep! I think Enzom will forever hold the record for a stock E55! as well as Oldgixxer for a stock E63!

all i can tell you is that a stock c63 is NOT going under 12 no way. i had m/t on my car when it was stock and i was in -1500 da and could not run under 12.

on street tires i would do a burnout then at the line turn traction control back on.. but with drags i leave it off ... my best 60 with street tires was a 1.801 and drags is 1.690..
