Iowa doesn't appear to exist

I live outside Iowa City now. 05 E55 with stock Nav. Likely the original DVD.

Iowa appears to be disappearing from the face of the earth, at least according to MB.

My house doesn't exist. 17 years old and doesn't exist. My community (North Liberty), which is one of the fastest growing in Iowa, has something like 7 streets in the system. Darn near no POI.

Will the latest DVD help or does it just suck.

Apparently Iowa is not the target market of MB!

I would guess the latest software will fix the problem.

Although the newest DVD might fix it, it still just sucks. Get yourself
a Garmin or something alike. Looks stupid but is better and much cheaper.

+1 but I didn't want to hijack the thread.

What is it with German car makers anyway? None of them can build a Nav system that is as good as or better than a sand alone system?
