Due to some B.S. confusion I won't be able to get the D/R's for monday. So I'm hoping the brand new Contis(w 27 mi on them thus far) will be able to get the job done.
Or maybe Lorenzo will run out of gas&I"ll borrow his tires for an 11sec pass.

I have a few things to try & I'm quite positve my mph will be in the upper 118 range. If it works I will share the info to my 63 peeps.

I am bringing someone specifically to record this event&ALL the AMG passes.I may even have a banner in the window w a small message for Juicee63....
Josh,I have ur cell# so I will definitely txt you with any record breaking passes live&you can post if you like.
I will burn DVD's and hawk them in the classified section for a small fee

Bring a little sugar, simply sprinkle it in the 55's tank. Another solution , just re-badge Lorenzo's car 6.3.and explain to him he got an 11.70 but he was in a 63 then point to the badges . Throw your spare and yer tools in his trunk just prior to staging. Hmm, This is going to be good. Too bad bout the tires, I am certain you will do just fine on whatever set up you are exposed to.

Now all we need is a Jakpro trailer hyping this historic event@Atco.

It takes a few hundred miles to wear away the slippery layer that protects the rubber from the mold used to make the tire. I would take her out every day with ESP off and leave rubber wherever you go.

My wheels are 18's. I don't think your ESP will let you run with 18s in the rear and 19s up front.

If this holds and you guys can HOOK on the cold track...records will F A L L

All of those predicting the 63 would not go sub 12 are going to need to lower your threshold.

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Enzom you could go 11.75@119.3 COMON MAN

OG 11.85@119.4
Mach 11.86@ 120.2
Zax 11.94@ 118.7
Venom 11.95@118.9

Ok you still need to drive and the wind needs to blow on yer tail but YOU GUYS ARE GONNA wreck shop.
Please do a sik vid. I am going to pop the champagne when the six three goes sub 12.
You know Juice,

If you nail these times as even being close to what's run... I'm taking you to Vegas for a little (RAIN MAN) at the gambling tables action..

He can definately run you 18"s in back and 19"s in front. we do this all the time and you can even drive like this on the street. I rocked my 18" rear and 19" fronts for a couple hundred miles back from Sacramento.

Maybe you would like a shot at the 63 record? Seems you have achieved the very best 60ft times of any E class driver in a stock trim!

Mach , your gonna have to do just a smidge better 60 fts to hit this time and yeah the wind cannot be blowing at you. Make sure youi guys get some heat in the track, this is going to be the biggest hurdle to the record times. Lorenzo was correct when he pointed out the cold air takes away from the 60 ft times. GIVE THOSE TIRES SOME HEAT MAN, at least 10 seconds, at least.

Not sure about the ET, but your car already trapped 118.7 before right? Another 1.3 mph is definately possible.....

I have 18"s at all corners just like the 55,maybe the E63 w P30 comes w 19"s?

As soon as it stops raining Im going to put a few hundred miles on them, that plus the 150miles to Atco should be all I need.

Jim,did u decide if your taking the Black Series or the Mitsu??

No, the E63 P30 also comes in 18s. The CLS P30 upgrade does come with 19s, but the E-Class P30 does not.

Juicee and I were at Famoso last weekend, and his car ran amazingly consistent. All his runs were in the 12.10s range @ 116+ mph in 76 F heat

We were about to text you so you could correct his best run

What is this "correction factor" you speak of

I think if I had the VR530 I would see 120mph traps

I think if I ran at Atco I would trap 119.and change, actually I am certain of it.

I think hitting mid 118 will be a real challenge but it is possible,

Had you driven my car at Famoso we would already have a sub 12 second pass, I hit 12.1 @116.56 on a 1.91 60ft BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, your 1.84 is one of the best ever in a 63.

Hopefully you can rip off some 1.79-1.82 60's.
Another milestone to seek is a 7.70's 1/8th mile and a 92+ trap
Obviously we have the main challenge of 11.99! I will accept anything but the 55 guys have added some sub 12 second passes recently. an 11.946 puts Chicago X in the fray, an 11.945 puts a 63 in 3rd place stock, I think that will be good enough to garner some respect.

GOOD LUCK BRO

OK - Still waiting to hear back from Kevin at Atco, but looks good for Monday. Weather is supposed to by awesome - 40 and mostly sunny.

I have heard from a few others who have asked to join. I have sent them all PM's. If they reply with their names, cell phone numbers and a commitment to show up on Monday with $200, they are in also.

It goes without saying that everyone who comes is doing it at their own risk. So I assume everyone will bring their brains with them.

PS - Drag Radials are in.

Thanks, Sunny. It will be neat.

If someone brings a lift and breaker bar, maybe one of the E63's can try my DR's.

It's looking like it will be the CLK63 BS again.
I looked and found the Mitsubishi's inspection sticker is expired, that's how often I drive it, 4-yrs and only 8K miles.

Don't mind that guy. He called many people worse things.

I will bring my torque wrench. But how do we swap wheels without another lift? Guess I will have to bring my lift, too.
