Lorenzo is at a completey different level with his E55,no 63 will ever touch that car

Juicee,I never even take Jims CLK63 Black Series into the equation;his car will be the fastest&I have no doubts in my mind.My E will not eclipse his times so I just try&concentrate on holding the stock E63 record.
I'm pretty sure he will be the 1st stock 63(regardless of class) to hit 11's&break into the 120mph range;we will just be playing catch-up the rest of the day.
That car is simply awesome to watch&listen to as it goes down the track.

Juicee - you could look under the hood of my 55 as much as you'd like, but you will never be able to find the Continuum Transfunctioner.

Looks like the weather is going to be just about perfect. My friend from the Corvetteforum with the handheld weather station will be there to take accurate readings fromt he track.

I am really looking forward to seeing an R63 head down the track.

BTW - We will be the first cars down the full strip since the track was completed. Today is the grand opening, but they are only running 1/8th mile because of the wind gusts today.

Enzo,do you what size socket we need for the lug nuts?The 63 is 17mm,but don't know if 55 is the same.
Are you bringing a jack or shall I bring 2?

I am bringing a lift, torque wrench and socket that fits my lugs.

I am debating whether I bring my stock wheels/tires just in case I feel vibrations because I am running without wheel spacers or new lugs, thanks to Tire Rack forgetting to send them with my wheels. Nice job, Tire Rack.

I agree with you guys , I have seen ONE R63 here in Los Angeles. This is likely a car nobody has ever seen let alone running the 1/4 mile.

Ok So Rob, I agree that Lorenzo's car is a cut above, even an AJcut above. Lorenzo is the 60 ft master, he needs to make a pass in a six three. Pleas since we are likely to have several ALL TIME BEST RUNS PLEASE PLEASE get it on video.

Being that you drive conservatively on the street&wont hit 115+mph I would really consider taking your D/R's w you&driving down w the Pirellis on the car.It would suck to get all the way down there&have a mechanical DNF that could be avoided.

I think I can post from my blackberry.

I must say that I am liking these Drag Radials. I floored the car this morning from a low speed and it just went. If I tried that with my cold PS2s, I'd spin and the ECU would end the fun.

Still leave 2 black marks in the road if I floor it with ESP off, but it ultimately grabs and goes. With PS2's, the ECU usually intervenes while I am still smoking away.

OMG..stay out of the left. Z06 is too light on the rear. Good driving by both to avoid a collision, glad the GTO put his foot on the brake. Sounded like the Z never had traction, make sure there is heat in the track prior to going ballz to the wall folks.
