Really nice car though. My gf is likely changing her X5 for the RRSSC but not until later in the year. Good luck with the sale.

My wife has been in my *** for awhile to get her one of those. Does it have a tow package, and if so, how does it do towing. I've got a 6,000# boat that is mostly very short distance towing but goes 30 miles to the dealer on occasion.

I've always loved the RR Sport.
Good luck with the sale!

You will not go wrong with it. It's really that good. It suprised me in regards to overall comfort, looks, and performance. The TQ it offers makes it feel faster than it is, but very fun none the less.Originally Posted by Carl Lassiter

I don't think it does. I have never used it to a tow with, but with the TQ it offers I really don't think it would be a problem. I would check reviews about towing for the model and year. I would also think if it did not have the tow package it would not be that exspensive to pick up. If you get serious about it I could look into the cost of that for you and maybe could throw it in the deal.Originally Posted by Hazy1

Thank You for the compliments. Yeah, the SC look great. I think the wheels make all the diff from the HSE models.Originally Posted by FreshBenz

Hey Bud, I checked for you and it does have the tow package installed. All it needs is the hitch.Originally Posted by Hazy1

Thanks for checking. I've been keeping her in the Expedition as long as I can, but I know those days are numbered. I'll look into towing capcities, etc. and might get back with you.

I just picked up a 06 RRS SC about a month ago and love it. It was a one owner CPO with 15k miles.
I have not heard about many problems with the newer RR Sports (compared to older Rovers), but I was glad to hear that the CPO is covered under factory warranty which can be extended to @100k miles
The towing capacity is 7,700 lbs (rated as one of the top vehicles for towing)

Here are some good links to browse for potential RR buyers:

Funny you should ask, in all likelyhood, we are relocating to the Charlotte area later on this year. I have 2 boys ages 5 & 11 and we are looking at Cornelius or Mooresville. Any other areas we should check out (I'm self employed so commute is not an issue) or have we picked the best areas for kids/schools/etc?
