RT ELM - before and after

Had a chance to install one. Very nice design, an old friend of mine designed it for RennTech. Very straight forward plug and play, about an hour and half for total install.

Stock

Settings 5 Front, 6 rear

Settings "LOW RIDER" - 1 F, 1 R

Vadim,

I still wouldn't really call it plug and play.

Plug and Pray? That's what we always called it in the computer world.

As a side note, doesn't lowering the vehicle put added stress on the car...especially the suspension areas?

Compared to the old unit, it is easier to install and easier to remove with out leaving a trace.

It works on all Airmatic and ABC cars.

You can not drive on "Low Rider" setting, but for the car show it will look good.

Lowering the car does add stress to the suspension and especially the airmatic. You basically are under load all the time and have little modulation. But, such is life!!

If that is the lowest setting on the module, I have to agree that it is not very dumped. Mine dumps. RennTech says not to drive with the car on any level lower than 3. Many do anyway.

Damn Vadim, I wish I would have known. I would have been happy to hook it up with some extended knobs.

Vadim, did you notice that one of the wires in the instruction manual was labeled incorrectly? Luckily I took my time and even did the omega test (I forget what its called) and found out the color they specified didnt match up

You want them? I thought you were waiting on the remote. I'll likely be up in OC next week. We can easily do it. I have the raw materials and a dremel.

Mine was under step 11, it said it was supposed to be a blue wire, but I think the correct color was brown. It was for "B22/8 left front"

the blue one was for "b22/9 right front". At least on mine (4 wire).

anyway, if anyone installs it themselves, make sure you check continuity (I found the right word ) and take your time
