That's right Grasshopper - I have ceramics + VERY LIGHT Champion wheels so the best of both worlds!! LOL! A significant weight reduction.
Actually, many who track their cars a lot usually opt NOT to get ceramics. Just too expensive to replace. Are they worth it for street driving? If you're worried about the cost, then no. A friend of mine said it best regarding the PCCB's: "A solution to a problem that doesn't exist".
My 997S had std. brakes and they were great. The PCCB's just feel awesome though. Interstingly porsche will not say that they stop any better/faster. The feel is worth it though. Plus, they look cool almost no brake dust is also a benefit.
Seriously, I was on the fence about this option for some time. the Gen I's had some serious issues (knock on wood Gen II's seem to be doing fine) so I thought long and hard about it.
I realized that with my personality I would have been kicking myself after the fact had I not gotten them. Guess I just like the "latest and greatest". I think pretty soon they will be std. on most high end exotics. They are now "std." on the F430 but about double the cost of porsche's - so I got a bargain!

I just got off the phone with him. They are off the car but he has decided to keep them to put them back on when he wants to sell the car. He told me he was selling them a couple months ago. Sorry, I will keep my eyes out for a set for you though.

You serious? LOL! That's right, you got lost going to Pilgrim LOL! Take the Robert Moses Causeway and get off when you see the sign "captree state park". NOT captree island. just follow it into the parking lot.

No way.. LOL.. Brembro's are heavier than PCCB. I think they are even heavier than stock brakes. Although, come to think of it, I think Brembro are another company is making carbon brake rotors.

Not sure if the Gen. II PCCB's will work on your car? I wouldn't put Gen. I's on - I'd go w/ BGT
