As an alternative, I've considered spending a bit more for a PP 5135 in rose gold. Now, THAT'S a stunner.

Big congrats on that. That is a beatiful watch, wish I had one. Does anybody know of Zenith watches? Talk about stunning and expensive, I think there top model is close to half mill. I too don't wear a watch on a daily basis. I do love Breitlings, though.

Here it is... My father bought this watch in Geneva in 1952. It is a 1603 with a 8XX,XXX serial number. He gave it to me when I was in high school in the late 1980's. I hadn't had it for more than a few weeks when I wore it into the pool with the crown open, and filled it with water. Sent it for it's first service in almost 40 years, and it ran fine until last year. I had it serviced by Rolex last year, and it runs great again. Not bad for a watch that had 2 services during 56 years of almost daily use!

Zenith is a great watch. They still make their own movements and had made movements for many other companies for awhile.
They have a new world time chronograph with moon phase that just came out that is just plane beautiful

Jaeger Lecoultre 8 day power reserve in pink gold with a dark brown deployment buckle leather strap. Several Oris to wear daily. Looking at the Cartier solid gold Ballon Blu automatic, patek perpetual and many others...getting the bug.

Cartier Santos 100- Black rubber strap with silver. If you like cartier this is a great casual one. It is an expensive watch (for me) that looks rather inexpensive (to most people).

I would rather put big money in my car rather than have a fancy watch.... I have a Breitling. I never rock it though, it looks funny with my Iron Maiden t-shirts and Vans.

i enjoyed this thread last year and didn't post because several of my watches were already listed. now that it's been resurected i don't see mention of two of my favorites...blancpain military leman or ulysse nardin marine perpetual. with that said, my seiko black monster gets more compliments than any of them...i love that watch!!!
