+1 why bother mod a FWD family commuter car. Cmon NOS headers I didn't even know those existed for that car.

i see no reason to laugh considering he gave props to the 335. Its his car and he can do with it as he pleases.

Why bother to mode a standard 335? i mean its a standard model and not an M!

...If people thought the way you did towards him...you would not have the toy you enjoy driving today

At least the "Standard" model is faster then the //M and it's considered a "Sport coupe" not a "midsize sedan" family hauler thats my point. I'm not talking **** to the guy. Your right it's his car and he can do what he pleases but you would think he would start with a better Platform to mod right? Like a G35 sedan at least.

Damn that 335 is making a ton of power! My M5 dyno'd at 426 rwhp stock, those numbers are awesome, and I only expect them to get better as people tinker further with the turbo I-6.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the 335 is BMW's new generation Supra. Let's hope it's even close to the invincibility of the 2JZ.

If the motor has the potential of the 2JZ then somebody better do a single turbo on that **** and boost it to hell.

I'm so pumped for my brother to get this car. It's a complete animal when tuned and it looks like modding it will be such a fun, education experience

I haven't seen the plumbing for those turbos yet but I'd imagine you could find room for a single. Put a 62mm on it and it would scream without too much lag. We're talking an easy 500rwhp. Goodbye clutch, goodbye transmission. See ya later rear axle.

540 6spd
I've never lost to Maxima yet, and I'm pretty sure I'd get schooled by a 335 (haven't run one yet).

I've run against modd'd '03 Max's 6spd which were the fastest of the bunch b/c they had the VQ35 and the older, smaller body style which weighted about 3300 - 3400 lbs (same as a 350z). I took him down no problem & I have yet to lose to a G or VQ35 Nissan.

The '06's Max's are much heavier. d00d in the 335 must've been in comfort mode or probably left it in 4th or something. .

I thnk the biggest issue that the 335 guys face is fueling. Walked U is preety much maxed out for a 335 until they find more fueling to go bigger turbo/s or he can go nitrous.

Anybody run n2o on an already tuned 335? I got a nitrous kit in my garage just waiting to be installed...my bro's future 335 looks like the ideal project. But not at the expense of a blown motor...

I guess we should expect to see a dealer campaign to flash the 335 ECU's with a load limit?

Nice runs. Your car is putting down some impressive numbers. Maybe I missed it, but are you running with 93 octane at 15 psi, or are you dropping some race gas in there?

That new 335 engine is just amazing...must be the most underrated and under-tuned power package to ever leave a factory. I just can NOT believe how much BMW left on the table here.

Nice runs. Give it a year for reliable mods to become more common, and this block will be the sickest thing around, especially considering the relatively low weight of the cars it comes in.

nice vids... be safe out there..

a few things come to mind.

The N54 on Walku's car is running nicely.. with all the goodies.

The E55 dyno's very low with the mods.. very strange but we don't know why. I remember this post a few weeks back on our E55 board.

It was only making 400RWHP and 440RWTQ with pulley and FMIC. Those are stock numbers.

On the 3rd run.. when the 335 had a 1 car lead, the E55 had to merge to the left to avoid traffic.. so there goes that run. But clearly the 335 had the lead.

What I'm surprised is the E55 was able to hang despite not making the extra power it should be making.

Wow, great videos.....

That M5 looked insanely fast on the top-end; it started pulling harder as it got faster

Oh man... no, please don't.

I certainly hope the other way around.... BMW is using a load limit ECU.... which means, there should be some more power to be unleashed a wishful thinking likely

Congrats on the 335i. If you don't mind me asking.. how much $$$ is involved in transforming a 335i to this level of performance? Are we talking a few grand or $20,000?

My Parts RETAIL prices are:

RD Sport Cat Back $2200.00
RD Sport FMIC $1600.00
BMC Air Filter $100.00
JB2 Tune Module $500.00

I've paid less for most of this stuff.

Thanks a lot. Ya I have a friend that has a BPU supra and he says the same thing. I wish it were true but everyone right now is just playing the waiting game to see what comes out next.
