335i vs E55 AMG vs E63 AMG vs E60 m5

Did some runs with a few friends.

The night started off crappy tho. First run of the night when I hit it my car ended up back firing and I heard a pop. After that my car would end up loosing psi in 4th and 5th gear sometimes. Found out that my stock DV ended up cracking. So I guess its time for forged DV's now...

I wasnt able to hold my normal psi on some runs. Normal for me is 15 psi, on some runs I would see 8-10 psi on gear changes which sucked. Some runs it would hold 15 psi.

Anyways thanks for all the guys that came out last night. I couldnt get any more footage of the E63 since the memory ran out. I did about 3 more runs with him all ending the same as the video.

Im going to go on hiatus and fix that DV problem, this should give me time to install the rest of the stuff I have laying around here.

Turn up the volume in the first run and you can hear the pop.

Thanks for all the guys that came down. It was super fun. I got more videos ill upload later.

Nice meeting kevin, and mark also.

I cant wait till Mark get his car tuned also. No doubt in my mind that thing will kill me.

...I got walked...:character0182:

It was a fun night. Let me get my ECU tuned and lets do it again.

Sorry I copied and pasted this straight from my forums.

Before this turns into a flame war. I did not post this video for bragging rights or whatever, I posted this up just because I have friends on this board that wanted to see the runs. Sorry if I posted it in the wrong section or anything.

Thanks in advance for keeping it civil.

Sorry heres an update on the other videos.

He was on basicly 92-92.5 octane he had less than a 1/4th of a tank left of 100 and we tried to burn it off before the meet

We are both on pump gas.

Anyways sorry you cant see the E63, its hard to capture it. Basicly tho everytime we ran the E63 would be behind us about 1.5-2 CL's or so. I believe after 1.5 CL's it gave up but me and the other 335i kept going.

Oh and every car had 1 passenger

Honks came from the E92 335i

The first run the e63 didnt line up i believe. You can barley see the E63 sorry I should have been in the middle lane.

Fast 335 no doubt but you have to think the e55 is not running properly.

E55 E63 both not running properly ,LOL dayum....why was the 335 suddenly holding PSI when it ran the 63. Seemed like the 63 stayed a little closer than the 55? M5 seemed to do better than both, hmmmmmmm, I would think from a roll the 55 63 and M5 would all beat a chipped 335, guess I was W R O NG.

Nice runs Mr. walked U..

Thanks very much. Ya my psi was whacked. It would hold 15 from 2-3 gear but after once i got to 4th it would go straight to 8-10 psi. Only on some runs tho it would do that.

Found out the spring in my stock DV gave out.

Im pretty sure that the e55 on the 3rd run let off after I had a CL or so of a lead already.

I have more than a chip tho.

But anyways, so people dont get confused. These are my numbers and times.

That explains it a bit , Thanks..

Its fast , and you should do a lot better 60ft's Do you hang with Terry? He squeezes out some incredible 1/4 mile times. You may wanna lose the 19"s

I think you have an 11 second car with some changes to your tires and rims, go to a 18" kosei on 4 corners booom you will see 11.90's

Your actually pushing more tq and likely the same hp as the heavier cars. Gotta givethe M5 props for staying closest. I had no idea you could squeeze that kind of tq out of a 335.

Your car puts down some nice numbers!

I like how you run different cars and the thing I like most is that you are honest about everything. Keep up the good work

Nice runs...you posted some nice numbers there!!! Congrats...

Do you know the owner of the E63? If I'm not mistaken, he had an impex license plate. Is he located somewhere here in socal? I'm asking because I happen to know a couple guys that are over at a place called Impex over in Rosemead...

Just wondering...

Yup hes located in socal. I dont know him personally hes an acquaintance. Hes friends with the e55 guy and im friends with the e55 guy also.

Thanks a lot. Its not as flat as I would like it to be like your guys's curves but I guess that will happen due to the little turbos.

Np.

Ya I dont have a drag set up. I went with 19s for looks. I have to buy a set of 18's or 17s liek terry.

Ya I know terry me and him our friends. He runs 17 inch kosei k1's on i believe MT ET streets.

We have ran before on the freeway but since he doesnt have sports package he cant go past 130. So its hard to gauge. But his car is very fast. No boost loss in the auto is awesome. If I could turn back time I would probably get an auto myself. From a stock no doubt he will get me easy from just the auto alone.

I believe if I can get a pair of drag tires on my next week Ill be heading with him to fomoso.

335i is surely one respectable car.... won't be surprised if it eats M3 (and its market) alive.... not sure what BMW was thinking... they got to TT M3/5/6 soon.

I wish my 535xi were that fast

god the videos just show how hard the m5 pulls uptop. its the only car that had a chance above 100, not even merely had a chance, but it pulled a bit at 15psi and the other vid when u were 8-10psi it just flat out walked u on top (no pun intended).
geez....

but no doubt thats a quick 335.

wow bmw did such a good job! so much respect to the 335 , i ran auto 335 , 4 door vs my 6 speed maxima STOCK FOR STOCK , and he pulled me by 1 and a half cars up to 110 from a 30 mph 1st gear roll , but my maxima is just a factory freak i run low 14's with best trap 101 on stock tires , i smoke 350z's and g37 coupe's stock , lol i just got lucky with my car , and i have videos for all races , but the 335 was faster than the G coupe and me by like 1 1/2 , 2 cars , ****ING BEAST!!!!! O AND THE M5 is FAST AS HELL , was it really stock ???????? why they always say that e63 is faster than m5 in any comparison test write up , video etc ??

Btw now i have the exhaust , spacers , CA intake , pulley, short shifter , and stage 1 clutch , ordering race headers, light weight flywheel , bigger intake manifold , 100 shots and A PRO TUNE =D so i'll be running y0u e55's ahahah =]
