Modded E63 - Burnout
A buddy of mine owns this car and he filmed a nice little burnout in dyno mode. Thought you guys would like to have a look....the car is brutally fast in a straight line.

Actually, we have....from a dead start he can take me no problem becasue of the wider 20" tires. But, that's a debate he and I have been having for a while...Does a wider regular MPS have more stick than my narrower R compounds ???
Honestly, we have probably dragged 5 times. I really haven't been able to launch well, unless I do a staged burnout to get some heat in my tires. I have been able to stay right with him a couple times, once with crash control off I just smoked the tires, then another time I feathered it 3/4 throttle in 1st and then hammered through and stayed right with him.
His car is very very fast....
However, from a rolling start I walk away from him no problm at all. The Black series is not a drag car, it's meant for the track and twisties. We have a short video of us racing from a rolling start....He jumps the start and I still smoked him....He's sending me the video now and I'll post it this evening.

Interesting results . The fastest 63 time so far has been the CLK BS (1/4mile) and it trapped faster and had lower ET than the E63. Those Corsa's should be heated a bit , your likely losing simply because he has a softer tire. The width on your corsa should be an advantage but you gotta get them to 200 F for them to work. You should be close but your car should pull simply because of a 300 lb weight diff. Is the gearing identical on the E63 I know the CLS has a slight advantage in 1st Looks like the BS would have an advantage in 2nd gear over the E. Final drive is the same, ..

Anyway, I would love to make it to Famoso this Sunday and I know my buddy would as well. We should all goto Willow at the end of the month when Jcart and his sick *** Evosport BS is going to make it's debut. That car is going to be ridiculous...
In the meantime, here is the video of the E63 and my BS racing from a rolling start. If you listen to the honks, you can see he clearly jumps the start and I gain on him and pull past then we both have to back off due to merging traffic.

The Black Series has a shorter final drive ratio than the E63...There is no way I have raced him from a standing start with my tires at 200 F so that, as I mentioned before, is a huge factor. He is running MPS....those are softer than my R compounds ???
