The new rice rockets have arrived on the East Coast!!
Beware my fellow Tri-State area peeps, I have seen the coming onslaught in the form of a car carrier chock full of brand new Lancer Evo's racing up the NJ Turnpuke this morning. I'm sure the ricers are lining up at their respective stealers to grab at this new, even uglier, generation of blow-off-valve ready Evo's. I'm sure the STi is not far behind. Now I'm not hating on these cars per-se, I'm hating on the type of person who drives them in this area.
Prepare to be accosted during your morning commute, your nightly commute, your Saturday drive, your Sunday "I need to get the hell away from the wife and kids" drive, etc. This pattern of behavior will continue until they realize that 300hp < 500hp.
Continue about your business, this has been a test of the emergency broadcast system.

Test results are pretty disappointing for the new Evo X...I'm not too crazy about the new engine they replaced it with either.
Thanks for the warning bro, I didn't know they were coming yet. Now, even more losers will be driving it since it has the dual clutch sequential and doesn't require a basic understanding of left foot work which a large percentage of Vin Diesel worshippers lack.

Yeah, post pics of the STi. Peppy little car for sure.
The Evo's high point was the Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition. A friend had a silver one in England and boy that thing was stunning both to drive and look at.

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
I was looking at a Porch a few years ago and bought the EVO MR for less then half the Porch's price.
Still drive it when I want to go fast straight and around corners. It has amazzed me during everyone of the 8K miles I've put on it in 4 years.
Porch = Porche..

AMG Rider, post up pics man! I know you're not a ricer, those things make a great daily, like I said I'm not hating on the cars, just their target demo.

I would think that the CLK63 Black would replace ANY car going fast straight and around corners? No??...

Oh no, I like and respect all cars. I want to buy an EVO form myself when the Mrs. leash is loosened a little.
I thought that if you had a new toy in the form of a CLK63 Black, the newness, performance and associated novelties... I wouldn't pull out a 4 year old car for a while.

I had a chance to run one 2 weeks ago. Black, 5 door, with Xenons and 18" BBS wheels.
I gave him the head start around 30 and by 60 I was fast pulling ahead. I'm not sure why he wanted to play.. but he did.
I gave him up for dead.. and there he comes with a fly by. Full Force
Once more.. I reeled him in and no problems passing him. I was kinda offended that he wanted to do a fly by to prove what???
This race was on Hacienda Blvd (Sunday Night) north of the 60fwy.
The same thing happen with a last generation STI witht he projector lights and new nose.
I usually don't run with any car, unless provoked. I drive slow around town and I don't cut infront of people at all.
Of course I'm modded and they seem stock. Its an unfair race, but I was not
