E63 Vs. M6 HKS-Straight Pipe
#51
Can't make it to Famoso. I'm due for tires tomorrow and 6AM rolls around before the shop opens. Not feeling the 2 hour drive for tomorrow on such short notice, either. I'll definitely try for the next one

Hmmm, spray....sounds like fun. I'm in.
NOTICE TO ALL TUNERS:
Bring it for the E55/E63 and lets see what mods are worth the $$. All of this HP/TQ talk drives me nuts until we can get it to the track. I'd like to see a RennTech Stage 5. That would be a tight run. i think my tune and airbox would make the biggest differences, but I'd have kharma on my side, too.

What the....
Nice JDM HKS pipes, and a nice M6 too, but sorry, those two don't mix.
You knew this was coming when you decided to post them pictures.

Trust me you're not the first to say it. I did it exactly because of comments like yours, "they don't mix". They look and sound great. I'll post some life-like angles in the morning.

GOODMEDICINE; So are we on or what? I am picking up my car at Evosport in Huntington Beach on the afternoon of Wednesday the 27th. We can do it somewhere down there or anywhere else you desire. After I pick up my car I am driving up to Hollywood and spending a few nights there. I'm trying to make this easy for you. I don't know squat about LA so I don't know of any good place to run. I hope to god you have done something more than just slap on those HKS cannons, I was beating stock M5's M6's by 2-3 car lengths in the 1/4 when mine was stock.

The last thing everyone needs is a 19 year old doing something stupid on the streets with a 500hp car. Don't encourage him.

Who cares what brand his exhaust is. HKS has some of the nicest products out. A lot of F3 teams, which is primarily held in EUROPE, use HKS.
Props for standing out in the crowd.

Edit: This turned out to be a great post... I only initially wanted to see if the owner of the E63 was here. Now It's turned into an open invitation to a race, none of which I asked for... ahhh, GROWN UPS...

Guys, mellow out. The kid has come in here and taken soe of our best shots. Hows about we back off and see what up. He already PM'd me yesterday agreeing to meet up at a track to stay safe and even offerred to drive down to SD to make it happen. Yes, he is young, but it doesn't mean that all young poeple are always ignorant.
Rag on him for his HKS, car, whatever, but don't make it personal until he does.

It's OK. Don't throw dirt at me because you couldn't fathom a way to make your fortune early on. I don't understand people like you who speak on situations so factitiously and don't even know the half.
Anyway off to my office... yeah, I work on weekends.

This car shows precisely why 19 year olds should not be allowed to own expensive German automobiles, they are obviously still in that age where "Fast and the Furious"-type cars are cool and they go ahead and ruin nice cars with ricer mods. No one over the age of 23 would choose an exhaust like that And by everyone liking your exhaust, you are of course referring to your 19 year old buddies, correct?

Goodmedicine, I'm going to resist any puns with regard to your name and next Saturday's race with Exodus, and that includes his name as well.
It's not going to be a fair race- twin turbo V12 vs NA V10. A SC V8 vs V10 is much more like it. I believe you beat an E63 (though obviously not Oldgixxer). A NA V8 weighing 500 lbs more than you should certainly lose to your trim sub 4,000lb V10. There's nothing to "hitting your shifts" other than shifting when the HUD flashes violently on the windshield.
I've had a bit of time in the E55, E63, M5, and M6. If racing the E55, in first through third gear, you'll be scared you're about to lose badly. You'll start closing the gap in 4th, by the end of the quarter mile you'll only be losing by a lil bit (scientifically calculated of course), and by 120ish you should be darn near to making the pass. You have only a small chance through and under the quarter, any other ideas will be corrected over time and meetings with properly driven E55's.
Someone get video.

I have recently had a run in from 0-110 with an m5 with my cl600 and walked him and it did not appear he was catching up but i was 2.5 cars ahead. again twin turbo v12 vs NA v10 no match
