Here in NJ, were loaded with fools like that, trying to pass off a car as something its not.. Guys with the S/CL 550's dropping the 0, then placing an AMG badge on the other side. Tons of 5/3 series owners with ///M badges. The latest, and greatest ive seen was a Mazda RX8 with Ferrari badges, and even the /scuderia shields on the fenders... REally dont know what goes through these clowns minds...

I hate these douches... I can say douche in here right? These people disgust me... be happy with what you have. I hate people who need to prove something to people to feel better about themselves. I saw one of those faux AMGs at the dealership for service, and i was parked right next to him, when i saw the owner i just looked him in the eye and i said "seriously? like seriously? its not a f**king joke or anything? you really did that?" then the guy just dissapeared. He didnt even have the decency to put on a fake quad exhaust or AMG rims... if your in here, you people disgust me. If you're gonna wear a fake rolex, wear one that looks like a rolex, not an omega. There was a guy that posted the pics that are in this post, too and asked about feedback for the Powerchip tunes for the E63. His sig, avatar, etc. all has '08 E63 in them, but the pics aren't, so I asked. It got fugly, so I made some phone calls
. I find out a thing or 2 that better explains WHY he was asking about PC. Then, WHAMMMOOOO, he is gone.

Then he made some comment about wanting to change the air filters, but from his statement he clearly didn't even know how many filters his car had. So someone started busting him about not having an E63 like his siggy said.
So he posted up these photos, which are above in this thread, of this douch-ily re-badged E350 as "proof" and people started tearing it apart. It didn't have the AMG brakes, exhaust, wheels, correct interior colors, had E350 fog lights, and on and on...
So then he started saying shiznit like "Oh, the wheels are BETTER...they were $5000" and "I replaced the hood and trunk with solid carbon fibre, so that's why it looks different" and "I didn't like the quad exhaust, so I had it changed to the two oval exhausts instead". When jangy pointed out that the real E63 only comes with the dark headliner in one color if you order black leather, and that his has the standard E350 grey one, he went ape***** on him and started calling him ghetto and telling him he had gotten his car lowered at "pep boys", and when was he adding the neon lights...stuff like that.
He never backed down, right to the end, but that just made it even more funny since the car was so obviously a rebadged E350. People also called him on the brakes, since the pics clearly show the tiny non-drilled E350 rotors, and that was the one thing he couldn't come up with an excuse for. Definitely some entertainment.

I really missed out on that thread, we did go to town on his dumb a$$ though. He just wouldn't answer any questions when he knew he was pinched. I called him on his "ebay" tips, the oil cooler (which was absolutely damning, thanks to gixxer for running down and getting those pics), and of course the brakes which are a dead giveaway.

I can't bro. In due time. It only confirms what i had known and thought. It is just a little surprising to see such a lamb get sent in. I guess that is one way to try to stay clean, right? Funny thing is the dip was supposedly an IT guy and still didn't know enough to know that he can be tracked on the web.

Get a grip.
All I did was share my limited experience with them and the reasons I chose not to have them do the ECUs in my car, which in case you hadn't noticed were all valid concerns.
