BUSTED: 80 in a 50 on the way to work!!
As the title reads I got busted by a motorcycle cop on the way to work. He really did not give me too much crap about the speed but more questioning on why my car took off so fast. I just told him I was having car trouble so I was just ironing out the kinks.
I plan on fighting it, this is the first ticket I've received in 6 years. He did clock me on his cycle speedo and not some radar gadget, will that help me get off or at minimum reduce the speed he got me for?

80 in a 50, is that the best you can do? I got a 175 in a 55 once, lol. (like 3 years ago now) They cought up to me 15min later, there was construction on this exit I was taking. Broad daylight, 2:00pm on a Saturday.
Ahh, to be young and dumb

actually I got out of it, its a long story, but the cop couldn't testify and some other things like that. if I was actually charged, I probably would have done jail time. (VA is hardcore)

I got off on a ticket like that in NY. I went in front of the judge and asked him how could he know how fast I was going without an electronic verification ? The judge asked the cop and he said from my years of experience, the judge smirked and said cased dismissed (this was 15 years ago).
Whenever I'm speeding my head is on a swivel, I spend just as much time looking into my mirrors as I do looking ahead.

Not gonna work nowadays. The pigs all have incestuous relationships with the judges, they'll all be taken at their word. Psuball, you didn't notice Ponch in your rearview at all???
