April fools is coming early this year right? I mean, you didn't just really seriously say you were going to put TSW wheels on an E55, right?

Before your time my friend, well before your time. It is the spoils of victory from some very serious ownage. Some young fool came on the boards and bragged about his 18+ IT certifications, talking about how he bought his own house at 19 blah blah blah, but when he posted pics of his "garage" and "office" there were kid toys everywhere. The Barbie Scooter was in plain sight in his "office", so we called him on it and it turned out to be his little sister's.

And now it is mine.

Cylinder Head, there is nothing wrong with TSW wheels. A lot of people use TSW wheels on E55's (and other AMG's), they are extremely popular. The quality is top-notch for the price (I've never heard of them cracking/bending) and they look amazing in person. In this case, the quality far exceeds the price tag. I would recommend them to anyone 100%.

Well, funny this comes up now.
I've had TSW Bremmers on for 2 years. Went to align and balance last week because of vibration - front wheel has 2 obvious cracks, 180 degrees apart, inside rims. Currently being repaired. Just put my stock wheels back on for now.

Other than that the finish has stayed perfect since day one. They look like the 2 piece AMG wheels which cost nearly 6 times as much, here. So not bad really.

All wheels can crack, even $5,000 HRE and Iforged have been reported to crack numerous times. Maybe you hit a pothole at a high rate of speed?

Who knows. I can't remember doing it.
I'm not implying anything by posting this, just stating the facts.

My stck AMG rims cracked TWICE and I had to get it welded ,lathed, painted, clear coated and fixed both times. they are nothing special as far as I'm concerned.

The same thing has happened to my friends S65 and he got rid of the cracked stck rims and got two new ones out of warranty because he has bought his AMG's from the same dealer numerous times.

Stock rims, nothing special and are actually done by a rim company that's contracted by AMG just like our AMG's exh are contracted out to Eisenmann and Sebring to be built specifically for MB.
