Xenon Installed On 03 E55

I had the xenon headlights from a newer e class installed on my 03 e55......tried it last night,it work perfect.Now i need it to be brighter.Can i just buy some brighter bulbs?If so,what do u recommend?

Nope. You can change the color temperature, but they're all 35 watts. Stock is 4200 Kelvin. or approximately daylight. Going up in Kelvin degrees makes the light appear "bluer". The higher the color temperature, the less light that is actually produced. Some people will swear that their 10,000K purple bulbs are brighter, but that's usually the same guy that is trying to sell you these bulbs. If you can find them, the "brightest" HID's are a euro spec Phillips bulb called "Ultinon" and they run at about 6000K. They don't really look much "bluer" than the stockers, but they do make a few more lumens.

Thanks for the info...I will begin to see if i can find the euro spec Phillips 'Ultinon" lights.I have problem seeing at night when i am driving,especially if iam racing.

I have the Phillips Ultinon 6000k bulbs, mch nicer color. Not really any brighter.. Paid around $200 for the pair..
