I've had this setup for almost two years. You dont need to change the headlights. I actually like the old look, dont like the additional upper lines inside too much. There is two small brackets that are different from the E63 that is required to bolt on the bumper to the E55 body (bumper support). From your list I dont see them mentioned. It's no big deal they'll figure it out when they tackle the install. Also, there is the foam insert too for additional support that goes inside the lower diffuser that is needed. Love the look, way more aggressive looking
Whats the price on the bumper alone? At the time I got my bumper my dealer couldn't get the Euro bumper (Without side markers).
Anyone want to buy my bumper (has the US spec side markers), make me an offer, you'll need all the other parts mentioned in this thread. I want to change mine to the Euro.

Below is a E-class frontend blow-up for reference, to give a visual and an idea how and how many parts and what parts are involved.

To give you guys an idea on the estimate is missing the amber lights, which are 35 a piece, so + 70. So what were are looking at is approx $1,900 for bumper, paint, labor for painting and prep, chrome trims, and tax. This is what I had to pay originally for this portion of the conversion. You'll need to buy all the other items needed to complete the front end. IE: brackets, foam insert, misc parts inside, grill. fog lights, and so on.
Since mine is of course used, but in good condition, with nothing more but wear and tear. Anyone intrested make me a fair offer keeping in mind the portion I'm selling originally cost me approx $1,900.
It's alreay Tectite grey with lamp washer cut outs. No Parktronick, no ugly round holes.
This offer is probably best and most cost saving to anyone with this same Tectite grey color.

So I revise my offer to anyone who is intrested with my same Tectite grey color looking to save a few hundred bucks on having to paint their bumper for this conversion. I had all the work done at Newport Fletcher Jones Mercedes at their Collision center. So as you can imagine everything is OEM mercedes quality paint and all.
This dealership is probably one of the largest Mercedes dealers. Yesterday when I was there in their lot and showroom they had a total of 4 SLRs. Two new convertibles, one hard top, and the awesome 722. Anyone looking to buy a 722 contact Newport Fletcher Jones. This dealer is where you can also custom order to your likes a Maybach.
