Is it me or is BMW,AUDI,MERCEDES all use the same styling for the side profile of their cars ? The lines on the doors and the lower end of the cars just look the same.

I kinda like it. Hopefully its a little larger since the E is kind of small in the rear legroom area. Just needs another inch or two IMO.
The handling is supposedly going to be more direct and the NAV system finally gets a major upgrade. It's about bloody time.

does everything have to look like the s class? should have kept the rounded eye treatment. btw, why are the wheels EXACTLY the same as in shade/shadow etc and the shading on the hood and the outside a pillar, the road stripes etc? this is an artists interpretation.

Im sorry, but the front end looks like a GS, and if I wanted a Japanese car, id get a Lexus. And I think that E class owners want more of a difference from the S class other than size. I do atleast. Unless this car can somehow make my beast seem slow, I think im keeping my car forever.

Are there no more up-to-date information or spy pics out yet?
Assuming the W212 is introduced for MY 2010, then the design and architecture should be signed off by now and the engineering almost finalized, no?

Looks too much like an S. Check out the first character of the license plate. Most often in PR shots its a clue for the series.
BTW..If I wanted an S, I would buy an S; unless I could only afford a C class, then it would be a 08 C class that looks like an S. An E should be an E and not look like a poser.
