E63 tranmission is acting weird when cold?

is under sport mode and whenever cold start it will feels like it is slipping when it shift from 2nd to 3rd.

For example, you drive off from the garage in the morning, you just give little gas to get your car going.....everythign is fine until it shift from 2nd -3rd gear, the RPM will jumps and you can hear it and feel it just... like giving gas without engaging the clutch on a maunal car.

Is it slipping? anyone have this problem?

and the brake squeaking is killing me, anyone have the TSB for changing the brake pads?

maybe part of the warm up process, shifting @ higher rpm warms the fluids faster.

or the trans fluid level is low

or the 2-3 upshift needs adaptation

Same sort of thing happened to my 55 after not starting it for 2+ months, however it seemed from when I shifted to drive and accelerated a bit it was slipping, after it warmed up it was ok and it hasn't happened since.

Happened to the CLS55 and had the valve body changed. According to my service rep, it seems to be a common occurence with the E and CLS models for years 2006 and up.

Good luck,
update...
just got my car back yesterday night and on paper it says engine and transmission software updated. problem fix.
this morning I try it, the symptom still there but at a very minimal level.
also, it seems like it fixed the sluggish or power lose on some situation.

The transmission seems response or shifting a bit more agressive than before the update, not sure if it is becasue they reset it?
