The yellow calipers are smooth. I too want to have my calipers painted, most likely Brembo red with white AMG or Brembo lettering. But I am concerned about warranty issues especially after I have had my brakes worked on under warranty due to squeaking and I feel dealer may resist working on them further if I have them painted.

Thoughts?

If I do the brakes I think I will also hack the resonator. Straight or cross pipe?

I too have wondered this, but i have yet to take my car in for any brake service...My tech, and SA are pretty cool though.. so i dont think ill have any issues.. BTW, the red will look stunning against the white!!

Has anyone seen a white E with yellow calipers? I'm also debating whether I should have the face of my wheels colormatched white??? Comments?

While painting things should I also paint the bottom of my front lip black like the new SL63, creating a larger lower grill appearance??

So is $500 about the going rate to remove paint and reinstall the brake calipers? I was quoted a bit higher from my local shop so I'm not sure if it is still worth doing?
