brakes look gorgeous. I was also thinking about going yellow but was wondering how it would look and I'm impressed. Were the brakes powdercoated or just painted? Was it hard to bleed the brakes after they were painted and reinstalled? Thanks in advance.

Just a general question. Why does everyone do it this way with a sticker. When I did my Brembo's I had the vinyl decal cut as a stencil. You stick the decal on paint the color you want the logo and then peel off the sticker. Your logo is now painted on. You can then clear over that if you desire. This way there is no adhesive that could come loose over time. This is how a lot of custom graphics and airbrush details are done. Pretty standard in the custom paint world.

Looks nice! I wonder if Mercedes will ever offer CCB option for the non black series sedans?

Red with black lettering or Black with silver lettering.
Not fussed on the yellow with a black car, IMO.

There is clearcoat over the sticker. Its not going anywhere. Its when people put the sticker on top of the clear that you see them peel.

The yellow on the calipers make them look HUGE! Did you drop the car off and have them do all the work or you gave them the calipers? Because $500 to powdercoat calipers (if you already have em off the car) is quite a bit

Yeah, Joe's got an E63. He got those done as well as his smoked tail lights in November for the SF Auto Show.

The Yellow really stands out on a black car! I love the look!

DEf would'nt do blue on black, save that for the silver cars.. Lambo pearl orange was my second choice..

I know a few guys who have done this themselves with VHT caliper spray, does a decent job, but doesnt have the gloss of a real paint/clear coat

Hmmmmmm.......... Gonna look into it, My car will be in the shop all next week, do they have to take the calipers off to get the paint done right? Don't know if they can handle that lol

I was at Wheel Power a couple days after picking up the E63 in Orange County in September 2007. I wasn't sold on Radenergie until they brought up the pic in your sig. Let's just say viewing your sig pic helped sway me to getting the R10s.

In addition to having the same color on our calipers, our wheel setup is very similar: diamont cut center and chrome lip. My previous BMW had a brushed aluminum center with chrome lip. I wanted the same look with the R10s but knew that Diamond Cut R10s only come with a polished lip. I told WP I would only get the R10s if chrome lips were available. I was surprise when they agreed to my condition for the sale.

Wow. That looks Sick! Anyone know a good place that can do this in Southern Cali? What does everyone think of Chrome and Black lettering? Think that would be bad a$$, to go with the chrome on the rims and the chrome trim on the car.
