how do you know if you have "euro" nav?
the original owner purchased the 04 e55 without navigation. He then, last year, proceeded to retrofit the navigation system. how do i now which one they installed?
Is there a clear giveaway?
thanks.

Euro Nav has a "Video" Button in the top left row, US has "Sat" Button (IIRC).
Also, Euro Nav has ICONs on the lower row of buttons below the screen for "END" "SEND" "MUTE" etc, whereas for the US market those are dumbed down and actually say what the button does.
Some pics from Ebay....

That is my understanding, after some work in the engineering menu.
They will play a DVD Movie, while underway.
And play MP3S on a DVD too.
What I am thinking about is movies and music from my I-Pod I have a library of 300 movies and tens of thousands of songs so I can fit like 120 movies and 10,000 songs on my 160 gig classic.
I tried to down load the install instructions today but my new computer with Vista wants to charge me to use acrobat reader. Oh well I'll do it tonight at home.
