E63 vs. M5 (TV SHOW)
My brother is producing a sick new TV show called Head 2 Head, taking all of the best cars out to a racetrack where Samuel Hubinette will be comparing them and the show will declare a winner. They are doing a 26 car test in the next month or so and have most of the cars lined up. They are doing a Viper vs. Z06, Ford GT vs. Gallardo, etc. To my surprise, he said that he still hasn't been able to nail down an E63 from Mercedes to go against the new M5.
Do you guys know anyone that has a bone stock E63 that would be willing to bring it out to location (Willow Springs, LA CA) on the 19th of March, 2008? Otherwise, I am going to take out my E55. But, he would rather have the latest and greatest.

In the drag race, the E55 stomped on the M5. It wasn't even close. They dragged several times, same result. It was like the M5 was standing still at launch and the E55 pulled strong in 1st and 2nd. In 3rd, the M5 was about the same, but by that time it was too late.
As for the results of the road course, I am pretty sure the M5 took the E55. The M5 brakes better, handles better, etc. The E55 pulls stronger coming out of the corners and in the straights, but overall the M5 is a stronger road course car. I actually don't know the official laptimes, but the show should be coming out in a couple of weeks and we will find out.
I will definately post a link when it is out.

Check this picture on Turn 3!!! This was taken when they were doing some beauty shots...not fast lap times. Pretty cool to see it that sideways that fast with Samuel Hubinette behind the wheel!

Unfortunately I don't...but I have seen some footage of the TV show. It is insane. I think the Head2Head E55 vs. M5 episode on Torque.TV won't be for a few weeks...so, we have to wait.
