Dump E63 for..
'08 Z06?
Very tempting,as I stumbled across a large dealership selling a few at dealer invoice.
I love my E63,but the brake issue is pissing me off,and the fact that MB cannot fix this to my satisfaction.Mods are outrageously expensive as well.
Z06 can be modded cheaply&effectively to be a real monster.I can get 130+rwhp added to the Z06 for a lil bit more then the cost of a Renntech ECU flash for the 63......
I may leave the AMG club

Now that's a major change. Swapping a 4 door sedan for a two door coupe thinly disguised race car. If it is a weekend ride fine but to switch as a daily driver....not so good.

'06 Z06 (C6) but after a visit to the NY auto show felt it looked too similar to the C5 Z06, that is why I went with the Viper. Which , by the way, is also a phenominal weekend car. No matter how fast AMG can make their sedans nothing beats the thrill of shifting these cars yourself. The Viper is more exclusive though. I am waiting for the first year kinks to be ironed out before I take the plunge for the ACR version. Food for thought.

, otherwise, we'll all leave....... joking
The Z06 is a phenominal car, but I'd wait until the new ZR1 comes out, as this will drop the price of the current Z06 even more.... unless you want to go for the ZR1

Made the switch a couple of years back...'03 E55 for '06 Z06. After a year of driving my Z06 every day, I wanted the E55 back. I guess if you just plan on using it as a weekend car, that wouldn't be so bad.
