Update: Event Cancelled!!
Just got word that they cancelled the event due to weather.
Keep in mind that the track has to be dry the day before and the day of the event. Just because it doesn't rain during the event doesn't mean the track is dry.
Wayne is working on a new date now but it should be May 4 - 10th.

Keep an eye out cause alot of us have friends interested in attending so as soon as you see an oppurtunity take it. Its a HUGE bummer we have to wait over a month again but May should be nicer weather...I hope.

Byron has Test & Tune next Saturday the 19th and again on Sunday the 27th. I'm going to watch the weather and hit the first one that looks like it is going to have decent weather. Not a bad drive, you can do it in 1.5 hours even from downtown Chicago on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Will do...Byron is a real easy trip for you. Depending on where in Elgin you live, but the fastest route for you is probably Randall to Rt 64 W. under 40 minutes most likely.

Well I went last year with friends but didn't run my car and we took nearly 2 hrs total and thats that we drove to Belvedere first then to Byron it took 1.5 hrs but we were pulling a car on a trailer so we went sllooww...

I am subscribed to it and awaiting info on it I don't know at the moment if I can make that trip but if I could why not...

Remember, there will be a Star/DAS machine at the meet, as well as a pro photographer.

In addition there will be trophies and vendor giveaways. Not bad for a hundred bucks, eh?
