Chicago/Midwest-PRIVATE TRACK DAY-May 17***
Lots of highly modified E55 going out this weekend. Good luck to all of you. I have a feeling we may see some records go down............
What's the density altitude projected to be. The track should be in great shape for a private track day. Have fun and be safe. Please post BEST ET's during your track day for the E55's. A live update would be cool. How late you guys running?
Nick

PS: Be safe out there.
I think I can meet you guys there

Wish for you decent DA and perhaps a tailwind to be a part of the festivities. We’ll be awaiting your killer timeslips!

12.46(I think) C32 with LET 185mm pulley and LET Tune
SRT6(RIOT) LET powered did 12.20 and I did 13.14 PB on Street tires

Did the weather hold up?
Stage 2 E55 11.78?
Did the stock 55 and stock 63 get to run?
DA was atrocious - well over 2800ft, higher on the tower readout.
Jay Nixon ran 11.80 on a pulley, LET HE, and custom LET tune. Three times.

My car was sidelined due to a bad alternator, but several members were generous enough to let me drive their babies.
I'll post up the pics from the pro photographer as soon as I receive them.
Just back from the event, it was a good time. It was a little warmer then I would have liked( High 70's and windy) but it was a nice day. The track was having a problem with the left lane reading the wrong ET's. It showed another SRT6 (Steve Hellems at 10.40@109 with a 1.3 60ft and just before that it had Riot at 12.27@109 with 1.5 60ft. There were also several other that ran 7.7 and 9's I told them about it and they said it was leaves blowing in front of the lights. They fixed that and times were back on track. All the SRT6's with similar mods were all real close in times, my best was 12.6281@110.55 (Code 3), Steve's was 12.51@111.10(Renntech) and I think Riot was middle 12's as well(Let).
It was great to met everyone, we will have to do it again sometime soon.
i ran some stock E55s and lost to them, lol. they pretty much slowly pulled on me down the track. maybe it'll be closer when i get more miles on my car
.all in all, it was a great time and wonderful to meet everyone.
wayne, thanks for hosting the event and being a class act.
Paul here from CPT. It was nice seeing the usual suspects and meeting some new faces. I hope everyone enjoyed this day as much as I did. I could not compete with my stock 335, running a best of 13.44. Cheers
