2006 C280 4MATIC, 2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000 race bike
it was great meeting some of you guys today, made me a little jealous that i don't have a fast *** fancy car... but that's okay.
rob's (oldgixxer's) car is definitely an 11.80 car, as the last run of the day he trapped at 118.5 and went 12.0x with a 2.0 60' time. with better tires (drag radials next time!!!) and nice sticky conditions like we had in the morning i see an even better pass nex time.

Absolutely AWESOME day today!!!!
Don't even know where to begin....
Well,I wish I had a camera to snap a pic of Chris'(05Venom)face when he came to the tower7saw he ran a 12.16,it was priceless!Seeing how excited he was set the tone for the day guys...
Lorenzo arrived dapper as ever,quite dashing I must say
Pleasure meeting Chris,Mike&seeing Jim as well as some of the Bimmer guys like Multiowner who is one of the most consistent drivers I'ver ever seen w/out electronics go down a track.Even though traction went south he still drove the sh*it outta that M5!! Bonehead's M5 sounds amazing,and the 10sec C6 vette threw down some insane times(1.48 60' on d/r's!)
Special thanx to my immediate crew of consisting of Anthony D(who will be driving a CLK B.S. soon,and yes,YachtMaster you can beat on it if you like!)and Wyheem and a thanx to my support crew via Verizon on the West Coast Josh&Mo,and CylinderHead for starting this thread.And everyone else who txt me w a congrats!

COuld you or anyone else familiar with this problem be more specific with your issue today concerning "centering rings". I want to make sure I avoid the same problem with my new rims and tires. Was your problem with the rims? What should we be looking for.

The lip on the inside part of the Kosei wheels that meets the factory hub is slightly narrower in diameter. So in my example, it is like trying to put the plastic lid from a coffee grind container (the hub) on a film canister (the inside mounting point of the Kosei wheel).
To allow the pieces to fit together, and maintain the hubcentricity (made that up) of the two pieces, Tire Rack gives you an adapter that fits, I think, on the inside of the wheel. It provides for a snug fit.
Compounding the problem was the fact that they didn't send me the new lug bolts, either. The factory bolts held, and never loosened, but they may not have been sitting properly in the lug holes on the wheels.

My best run of the day was 11.6@120.34, 11.7@121.98. I am run toyo TR1s the 11.5 e55 had drag radials.

Nice stuff G!!! I heard there was flint grey E63 into the mid 11's trapping 120+...I was like Hmmm, that is no 63 sounds to me like MR. G in a disguised 55. I will make it next time I hope.

No it's a built E55. Apparently the guy likes to hustle people. Not exactly a standup tactic but I've seen it plenty of times in Newark on Ave. P. Guys muffling their Supras so they sound stock but go like stink, etc.
