Since I get so much information from you guys, I'd like to try and contribute when I get things done, or buy things for the car (yeah, I can be a bit of a research-aholic!). Anyway, just thought I'd pass on what I have found as far as online pricing for Toyo T1R tires that I have decided to get...with shipping.
2 Fronts - 245/40 18s
2 Rears - 275/35 18s
Edgeracing.com - 745.42
Treaddepot.com - 754.00
Tiresavings.com - 801.04
Tiredeals4less.com - 888.58
1010tires.com - 985.04
Prostreetonline.com - 1003.96
Discount Tire and Tire Pros - don't sell Toyos.
This is, of course, strictly price shopping.
Edit to add; shipping to the Phoenix area.

I have been searchin craigs list.
I came across this place called Zoom Tires.
They supposedly sell all kinds of tires cheaper than anybody.
I'm thinking of going this week to check it out.
I'll take this print out with me.

I got a quote of 712 from Edgeracing for shipping to PA... I guess it is cheaper to ship to PA from FL. Thanks for the info, I had never heard of these guys.
So I am trying out the Toyo Proxes 4 tires. I liked the Toyo T1Rs, but the price differential between the two made it an easy decision to try out the Proxes. They have the same rating as the T1Rs, but with a better treadware rating.
I found the best pricing at tiresdirect.net and then called my local Discount Tire and they almost matched the price. They need to make some money on the tires, not to mention I get them same day and mounted and balanced.
I would have checked out edgeracing.com again, but they are out of business. Anyway, hope this helps those folks looking for tires!

That's exactly what I did Karl. I found the best price and took that to my local tire shop to have them price matched. I believe I ended up paying $50 more which included mounting....even though I needed to wait 2 hours Originally Posted by I Like Soup

!Hey Vader, what size tires are you running in the back? I have 275's but I'm losing traction at 60 mph
. I plan on going with 285's on my next set, after researching they seem like they should fit.Senior Member

I bought my T1R's from 1010tires and they were great. TBH I didnt shop around as much as you, but I am 100% satisfied with my Toyos.

Hey Bassn, quick question, do you have the stock rims ? Because my tires are 265 in the back, and want to mount 275 or even 285. Is it posible for my stock rims ? thanx !Originally Posted by bassn_07

To update my recent tire purchase, I found the best pricing online at tirecrawler.com (tiresdirect would have been competitive but the tires weren't in stock).
For For Toyo Proxes 4's...
2 275/35/18 and 2 245/40/18's $730 shipped to AZ. I called Discount Tire and they didn't quite match, but charged me $800 for all four tires mounted, etc. Well worth getting them done within a day.
