Hey everyone, I'm working on a roadtrip for the Midwest crew. What do you guys think about meeting in the west suburbs of Chigago, and blasting south to I80, and heading east to Southbend, IN(about 120 miles from Schaumburg). From there, we ride North into the hills of Michigan, and ride west the Lake Michigan shore. There is a winery out there in Buchanon that we could tour, and eat lunch. After that, we could ride down to the Dunes, and take some pictures, maybe stop in Michigan City, and grab a slightly early dinner at a restaurant I know of down by the Lake. All in all, about 350 miles, with some highways, twisties out in the middle of nowhere, and some neat scenery. Any feedback?

Sounds like fun, although I would have to meet up in S. Bend as I would be coming in from MI. Just be careful along Valparaiso. Everytime the wifey and I go through there, the cops are swarming. You ought to think about tying it in with a track day at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven!

Ok guys, I have been thinking of Sunday, May 18 for the next meet. I was thinking about going to South Bend, but that is a pretty big drive for a day trip. How about we cruise down to Michigan to New Buffalo. We could pick up some Indiana crew somewhere near Merrilville, and head into Michigan. Who's with me?

Ok guys, now that the track day has been rescheduled to the 17th, so I think a reschedule is in order. Is anybody opposed to a date early in June? I am getting married in July, so that month is pretty much out of the question. Is June 8 ok with everyone?

Good point SaMaS, I hadn't realized this got changed since I couldn't make the April 12th date! I am free the 17th though!!

I think we should re-schedule this so everyone can go. I definately want those drag-day guys with us for this drive! Lets get a date set and make it May sometime if possible. How about the weekend of the 10th/11th??

Ok guys, I need to figure this out. I have the following dates available: May 11, 25th, and June 8 and 15. I was hoping to blast east this time for more of the Indy guys. Please let me know what you guys think about these dates. I really need to get out and drive, sooner than later preferrably, but please help me pick a date. JRcart, what is your schedule, because I really want you to show up?
