I installed another one on a friends car last week. Hardest part is getting the connector off the suspension module.

Any tips? That is simply not possible, since the rear only has one sensor and it is in the center. What you can do is play with each front to balance out the rear, but this is really only a solution for stand-still shows, etc. To drive like that would RUIN the performance.
Pics won't tell you much. The difference (wiring, not modules) is only that you are now modifying the harnesses vs splicing the wires. This can also be done with the older module, but you'd have to buy a little harness bridge to connect the pins (I suppose you could also just share pin slots or "rig" it but that really isn't the object. It took me a while, but I was finally ably to find the generic harnesses and was able to build a piggy back setup. You basically unplug the airmatic, plug the modified harness into the slot and plug the original harness into the back of the modified harness. It worked, but was neither pretty nor long enough. I stripped it back off and am changing it so I can move the module to the shelf below my seat.
The interesting thing with the module will be the remote, since they did not opt for the knobs.
If I read the instruction manual (http://www.renntechmercedes.com/lm_i...ions/mb_lm.pdf). It seems that up W211 up to 4/06 build date has 4 sensors vs. 3 sensors on 5/06+ build date

Why can't R/T create a true PnP?
Also, do you connect both the battery in the trunk and the supplemental battery in the engine compartment, or just the one in the trunk?

Any tips? This is only for the ABC 4wire system. Airmatic still only has one rear control knob.
Install is very very easy, I will take a few pictures next week when we do another install, for you W211 guys all it requires is the removal of 3 wires from the harness.
Now.... the question is:
Is it worth additional $300 (for my case) to get the new module vs. the old module?
I will have my installer place either module w/ extended harness under cup holder for easy access.
Any difference between the old and the new module other than optional remote control and installation effort?
BTW, is the remote control available already? If so, is it included in the $1395 kit price?
THis thing RULES..and NO RUBBING even going in hot on corners..I do need the RT Camber kit though..
PSK installed mine while I watched his kids lol

Or you need to set the car up on a perfectly flat ground.
Or just set it at whatever seems to work best..
Charles (PSK) calls me and goes, dude..there is a silent auction for Make a Wish with a RTLM at this GTG he was at in O.C.
I said bid to0 1K..
We got it for 700, had a donation w-o and the MAW ppl were there to take the funds so we know it did not get lost in someones pocket and then I made Charles install it that afternoon.
