Anyone-Help! Water Spots on 08 AMG

I've got a black E63 with water spots on the rear bumper that won't come out by washing. Don't know if I need to have the entire car detailed and buffed or is there a light compound, polish, or wax I could try on my own without harming the clear coat? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, MW

Soft water and white vinegar 2:1
It is best to try and dissolve the deposits off first, rather than trying buff/abrading them off.

Would it work if I used distilled water instead of soft water, since I don't have soft water?

Yes, and don't be afraid to make the ratio stronger, it will take some time to dissolve the spots/deposits so be patient. I use a soft cloth or micro fiber towel, wet it out with the V&W and wipe it over the dry area with the spots.
Of course car in the shade, you may be able to see the solution stick to the spots this is good it is what you are after. At some point after repeated applications you may not be able to see the solution sticking to the spots anymore. all most done wash and dry the area and it should be spot free.

Our black cars show everything every touch every drop of water. In the heat of the day any thing that hits the finish is immediately baked on. I always try to avoid scrubbing, buffing, polishing, as they will hurt the finish. I prefer to melt, dissolve, soak away the dirt, bugs and spots. Black car the love hate.

You can also use Protect-all. that stuff works really good. you can get it at most motorcycle shops or at walmart. I've used it on all my cars and bikes and it puts a hell of a shine as well.
